Emilia Pérez

It felt overly confident in its “edgy” perspective, while simultaneously being incredibly one dimensional. It’s very boomer-coded. It’s sadly transphobic.  I don’t think this film is smart enough to tackle this subject matter. 

The music is fine and the cinematography is pretty.
